During the DLA (Defense Logistics Agency) Stand Down Day, DLA’s QA Safety team had the opportunity to invite the Sentinel Security Group LLC to this event as a vendor to demonstrate their in-depth knowledge and training for catastrophic events. Their professionalism and down to earth get it done attitude are inspiring to viewers and participants alike. Their vast knowledge of defensive tactics and self-preservation truly came to life during their presentation. Their training aspects and techniques are leaps and bounds over some of the same drum beat training that many workplaces display these days for the sake of saying someone or a facility is trained! In order to get the best results from a training you must have the best Trainers. thank you Sentinel Security Group LLC !!!

On Thursday, June 8, 2017 I and 17 Massimo Zanetti Beverage USA representatives from the Virginia locations had the opportunity to attend Basic Active Shooter Training conducted by Sentinel Security Group LLC (SSG). The instructors were very knowledgeable. Our team was fully engaged and able to quickly adapt the course to our current environment. The training covered all aspects of active shooter recognition, preparedness, and response including survival techniques. As the number of workplace events increases each year, training of this nature is a great way to increase awareness as well as provide some great tools and techniques that can be used in all aspects of daily life. I look forward to attending additional training courses with SSG.

The services offered by Sentinel Security is sorely needed in this turbulent time as we confront frustrated individuals who believe the only solution, they have is violence. It is our duty to protect our team, and Sentinel Security continues to support that mission by giving our team the tools they need to confront this threat not only at work but in their personal lives.Donny, Mike and team are extremely knowledgeable and committed to successfully train and encourage team solution training through on-site security evaluations, table top incidents, review of past and current situations, including weapon recognition, and weapon neutralization techniques for our core crisis management teams on how to effectively stop a threatening event from harming our team or others. Sentinel has been instrumental in organizing and preparing us for the unexpected and forcing our team to plan, involve, commit and react as threatening incidents develop to recognize and defuse potential dangerous situations. The Sentinel team continues to evolve in their training methods and learn from events occurring worldwide, while being flexible enough to meet our specific crisis management needs. As a safety professional, I have been actively involved in threats against our team, and the solutions, techniques and expertise offered by the Sentinel team is simply some of the best I have ever seen. I recommend this training to any company who is struggling with how to deal with this very real threat, and am proud to have the Sentinel team as a resource to help keep our team safe.

I met Donny Hawkins and his team through Region III VPPPA about 5 years ago. They have put on many breakout and general sessions for our conferences throughout the years. His sessions are always well attended and very interactive.

Sentinel Security Group has conducted Active Shooter Response training sessions for my company and was willing to bend over backward to meet our needs. Our training tour consisted of 4 states 19 locations, 28 sessions in 2 weeks. Donny, Mike and the Sentinel Security team were very professional, thorough and knowledgeable with the topics. There was NOT ONE BAD COMMENT but only rave reviews from the training sessions. Our employees who attended ranged from the new employee that started last week to our most senior employee with 50 years. I will continue to utilize Sentinel Security for various training topics in years to come…because of their knowledge, back ground and communication/presentation skills.

Donny and Mike are my go-to instructors for all things active shooter and security. As I’ve moved jobs over the past few years I’ve taken them with me to each new employer. Their training is an absolute necessity in today’s world, both at work and at home. I’ve had them train over 500 employees since 2017 and I have never heard one complaint from the workforce. Instead, dozens of employees have told me, “This is the most valuable safety training I have ever received, I won’t forget it.” Those are the comments, as a safety manager that I value immensely.

Sentinel Security worked with our team to specifically create a program and training that meets our needs. The focus on our crisis management policy and hands-on training is an experience that is almost necessary to be prepared for workplace violence.

I was able to attend Sentinel Security Group’s training on two different occasions and was very impressed. They were extremely knowledgeable and I walked away feeling like I am more prepared now if I ever had to react to an active shooter situation. I highly recommend this training because it has become more relevant today that we know how to protect ourselves from such an event.

No matter what business you own or work for including churches and hospitals or any individual who wants to know how to protect themselves and others, including families and co-workers. Whether you are at work or attend highly populated functions, I highly recommend you to call the Sentinel Security Group. Over the past several years our TVs have been filled with more and more active shooter incidents. This group of highly trained individuals prepares your site(s) to reduce threats from unpredictable individuals who wants to harm, kill your workforce or a congregation of people. No better way to deter these disturbed individuals in having plan in place to protect lives of those you know and love. I have trained with this highly knowledgeable group of guys whose professionalism and expertise will give you the tools to provide and build an effective security program. Their success comes down to the smallest detail of identifying weak areas at your sites and preparing individuals to survive incidents. They provide a fun and hands on atmosphere while training for a serious event. I have over 27 years of building safety management programs to protect workers from worksite hazards. No better way to improve your worksite by implementing a security plan to protect your workers from the other worksite hazard, active shooter. I introduced this group and regional and national safety events and the feedback keeps these guys coming since they started this company. Don’t wait until it’s too late, please call these guys to assist in saving lives.
